"When you get those rare moments of clarity, those flashes when the universe makes sense, you try desperately to hold on to them. They are the life boats for the darker times, when the vastness of it all, the incomprehensible nature of life is completely illusive. So the question becomes, or should have been all a long... What would you do if you knew you only had one day, or one week, or one month to live. What life boat would you grab on to? What secret would you tell? What band would you see? What person would you declare your love to? What wish would you fulfill? What exotic locale would you fly to for coffee? What book would you write?"

Proactive-ness?

So today, when I was sitting in the dining hall eating my lunch I was like...ok, this is ridiculous- I have nothing to eat. Ok thats not true. I had a piece of chicken (no bread- because apparently when you tell the grill man that you want chicken- you get a piece of chicken, literally, when really i wanted a chicken sandwich.) but anyway, I put some brown rice on that piece of chicken (not adviseable) and then got a side of potatoes and a banana. so I did eat food, and it was pretty healthy. I guess. But I'm sitting there and I'm like, I really should just ask the dietitian, I'm sure she can help me. So I did. I emailed her and she booked an appointment with me for wednesday :-) So hopefully after that i can eat in the dining hall with PEACE. and not get a stomachache after...
