"When you get those rare moments of clarity, those flashes when the universe makes sense, you try desperately to hold on to them. They are the life boats for the darker times, when the vastness of it all, the incomprehensible nature of life is completely illusive. So the question becomes, or should have been all a long... What would you do if you knew you only had one day, or one week, or one month to live. What life boat would you grab on to? What secret would you tell? What band would you see? What person would you declare your love to? What wish would you fulfill? What exotic locale would you fly to for coffee? What book would you write?"

New Job?

I just conjured up some balls and applied for a nursing job on campus this spring. I may not (probably won't) get it but at least I can say I tried. The lab coordinator likes me, I think, so that puts me at a somewhat advantage. The position is only available to senior students and the position entails running the lab for the sophomore and junior students to practice with the simulator man. I've always known about the job but was too afraid to try, thinking I wouldnt be good enough for it. But hey, there will be orientation. I'm not expected to know everything walking into my first day. They teach you. So I will be OK if I do get the job. I'll keep ya'll updated on that one. :)
